Interiors
Interiors is the result of a study on presence and absence, on observation, solitude and the territories in which we cohabit with it. It was necessary to make a representation of these ideas, working with light, space, persona and exposure time of an image.
BIO
Mariana Castro (Portugal) is a filmmaker and photographer. Graduated in Cinema (ESTC, Lisbon), Master in Philosophy, Aesthetics (FCSH, New University of Lisbon) with the advisor professor Maria Filomena Molder. Started her research in Photography under the PhD program of Communication and Art (UNL, Lisboa). Her film “Encontro” was in several film festivals, being awarded and screened in Lisbon, Hannover, New York and Vienna. Exhibiting individually since 2010, her photography work has been published in several international magazines and awarded.
