Tourism 3.0 / City 3.0 – A Sociological Exhibition of Mobile Art, from Artists to Tourists and Citizens
2017
Sociological Comics, made with the montage of photographs (1,5x1m)
@ Lisboa Cidade Aberta Exhibition
This work of art both introduces and it is a part of the sociological exhibition Tourism 3.0 / City 3.0. In particular, it clarifies the meaning of mobile art, within the context of contemporary social and semantic networks that are visited by citizens and tourists.
Such a proposal of art constitutes a paratext, in the words of Gerard Genette. A paratext is a set of contents that works as a business card or an appetizer, in order to present other contents, such as those included in the Virtual Sociological Gallery.
